With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, many graduates volunteered for the front. After the liberation, the country's economy needed to be restored, and construction workers were needed. In 1944, Factory and Plant Training School No. 33 resumed its activities. Personnel were trained in the most necessary construction specialties: carpenter, plasterer, roofer, joiner, mechanic, painter.

In 1946, the Slonim School of Factory and Plant Training was renamed Vocational School No. 19. It trained carpenters and mechanics to repair cars. About 150 new students came to study every year.
